Friday Favorites #20 (A Day Late)

Annie July 1, 2023 Comments3

Happy July! Today’s post is pretty brief because we are in the process of moving out of our cottage, packing for Ohio, and moving into a camper. Life is very busy right now!

I did manage to round up some quick favorites for you, if you would like to continue reading. Have a great weekend and a very Happy 4th of July!

Amazon Mirrored Sunglasses

I’ve been on the hunt for some mirrored sunnies and ordered these off Amazon. I love the size and shape of them. Super cute for summer! Also, if you follow my Instagram stories you know these were the last thing I needed ha-ha.

New Camper!

We officially purchased our new camper this week and Ryan is picking it up as I type this! Even though we visited many dealerships, we decided to purchase a like new 2021 Grand Design Imagine from a private seller. It still has the new camper smell, though! I will miss Lake Leelanau but am looking forward to campground memories. I know the boys will make lots of friends and we’ll still have our northern Michigan summer. There’s a lake there, too!

Lancome Foundation Stick

I meant to take a picture of the one I have but forgot and packed it!

I ordered this a while ago on a really good sale but wanted to use up my other foundation first. I don’t like heavy makeup in the summer; however, I still want some coverage. This foundation stick goes on very nice and is quick to apply when I am in a hurry. I just paint some stripes on my face and blend with my foundation brush. What I love about it is it lasts all day and doesn’t feel like I am wearing a face full of makeup. The shade 260 Bisque Neutral is perfect for me.

Boardman River Hike

Drew had a speech camp all morning this week so Lucas, Owen, and me had a few hours to hang out each day. On Tuesday, we hiked the Boardman River on the same trail I did with Ryan and Owen a few months ago. It was fun to experience it with Lucas this time and watch the two interact. They ventured off trail most of the time, exploring the riverside and forest. They were also determined to catch a frog, but no luck!

The Original Flap Jack Shack

We ate out more than usual this week, since our fridge and pantry were pretty much empty. We’ve been wanting to try The Original Flap Jack Shack. I was out and about with the boys and asked Ryan if he wanted to meet for lunch. The atmosphere was a cool 70s vibe and the food was delicious. We’ll be back for sure!
